Green Patchwork Kantha Throw
Stripes, chevrons and patchwork - this lively throw ties multiple patterns together in the hand done Kantha stitch synonymous with South Asia. Muted beige tones work alongside soft fresh greens and a pop of yellow and red on one side, for a versatile throw that will work well wherever you use it!
Using the traditional art of kantha stitching, this throw is made of up six layers of 100% cotton reclaimed saris. Combining the beauty and intricacy of a traditional dress garment with robust stitching method that brings six layers of fabric together creates a hard wearing textured piece that’s a feast for the eyes, and can be used as:
- A chair or sofa throw
- A summer bed cover
- A picnic rug
- Or just a lightweight blanket to cosy up under
